Distance Covered:

Got to Aberdyfi, mid afternoon and was greeted by force 6 winds, blue sky and a 10-15 kiters out on the water. Pretty much every manufacturer represented - GK, F-One, Ozone, Flexifoil, Slingshot, Ocean Rodeo, and others, with bows/SLEs a popular choice.

Picked the 9m and it was a perfect choice for the conditions. A bit busy near the shore - what with loads of folks from Exeter University, so kept upwind out of their way and went towards Graveyards.

Very messy sea at Graveyards for some reason (somebody please let me know why) - messy chop coming from all over the place with the occasional big wave thrown in for good measure.

Big moment when one end of the spreader bar popped out of the harness, but fortunately well away from the shore, so no damage to me or the kite.

Had a bit of a rest, and then relaunched for another hour and a half session. As the water became less busy, I came back South to the flat water and the legs were grateful for a rest. What causes that brown muddy sea at LW? - the remains of the forest ?

Had to give the day a 5 star rating.

Knackered yesterday and today, seems like the wind is taking a rest as well.
